It is equally important to me that we are present before that moment—building trust, strengthening preparedness, and giving people the confidence to act when someone needs them most. I look forward to connecting with you, your family, or your organization in the community.
After becoming a mother, pediatric safety took on an entirely new meaning for me. I began looking at the work we do not only as an EMS provider, but also as a parent—and I saw how much of a difference education, prevention, and preparation can make for a family.
That perspective became the heart of our Community Outreach program. I wanted families to know that Warwick EMS is here for more than the moment an ambulance is called. We are also here to share knowledge, answer questions, and provide practical resources that can help people feel safer and more confident in their everyday lives.
Whether we are teaching someone how to perform CPR, helping a caregiver use a car seat correctly, introducing a child to an ambulance, or showing a group how to control life-threatening bleeding, every interaction matters. These skills may be learned in a classroom or at a community event, but their impact can extend far beyond that moment.
