ABOUT WARWICK EMS

Serving Northern Lancaster County Since 1956

For 70 years, Warwick Community Ambulance Association has been committed to providing high-quality, compassionate emergency medical care to the communities we call home.

Today, Warwick EMS is a modern, nonprofit emergency medical services organization providing much more than emergency response. Through education, community outreach, special event coverage, emergency preparedness, and strong local partnerships, our commitment extends far beyond the ambulance.

2026

Warwick EMS launched Pennsylvania’s first prehospital sepsis antibiotic pilot program, bringing critical, time-sensitive treatment directly to qualifying patients before they reach the hospital.

expanding our reach

Warwick EMS has grown into a modern emergency medical services organization built on advanced clinical care, professional training, education, and community service — while remaining rooted in the same commitment to our neighbors that began in 1956.

built for today

NOW

What began with volunteer drivers and basic first aid evolved alongside emergency medicine itself. Today, Warwick EMS is supported by trained professionals, advanced technology, and an ever-growing scope of care.

EMS EVOLVES

THEN
1956

Warwick’s first ambulance was loaned to the organization and housed in a local garage. Before the end of that first year, AMBUCS secured a 1954 Cadillac ambulance for the growing service.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Frank moved with his family to Reamstown, Pennsylvania, in 1969 and ultimately made Lancaster County home. Before joining Warwick EMS, he spent 34 years in the graphic arts industry, primarily in information technology, helping integrate emerging desktop publishing technology into commercial printing. In 2008, Frank took on the role of President and Executive Director of Warwick Community Ambulance Association, leading the organization for more than 16 years before semi-retiring at the end of 2024 and transitioning into his current role as Chief Financial Officer.

Throughout his tenure, Frank helped guide Warwick EMS through significant financial challenges while positioning the organization for continued growth and long-term stability—an accomplishment he considers one of the most meaningful of his career. He remains passionate about progress and believes serving the Warwick community means remembering that those Warwick EMS cares for aren't simply patients, but friends and neighbors. Outside of Warwick, Frank is an active member of the Lititz AMBUCS and serves on the AMBUCS National Board as Northeast Region Director.

Originally from New Hampshire, Brianna came to Pennsylvania for college and made Lancaster County home in 2019, the same year she began her career in EMS. She started as an EMT before advancing to AEMT and earning her Paramedic certification in 2023. Brianna joined Warwick EMS in 2025 as a Paramedic and Lieutenant and now serves as Operations Captain, overseeing the day-to-day operations that keep Warwick’s crews prepared and ready to serve. She has also served as a Field Training Officer and is continuing to expand her role in EMS education and instruction.

Brianna is especially passionate about teaching, training, and helping providers find their path in EMS. She views emergency medicine as a team effort and believes every person has a role to play—it’s a matter of helping them discover where they can contribute and succeed. For Brianna, serving at Warwick also means being part of an organization deeply connected to its community, from emergency response to education, outreach, and community events. Outside of EMS, she enjoys spending time with family, her dog and boyfriend, baking, working out, traveling, and exploring new places.

Born and raised outside of Pittsburgh, Colleen Bruckno found her way to Lancaster County and EMS after seeing an advertisement for an EMT academy shortly after high school. Now an AEMT with seven years of experience, Colleen serves as Warwick EMS’s Community Outreach Captain. She is an AHA and HSI CPR instructor, PQAS-certified instructor, Child Passenger Safety Technician, and Stop the Bleed instructor. During her EMS career, Colleen has been part of two clinical saves and a successful delivery—but some of her greatest impact has come through helping others learn how to respond before an ambulance ever arrives.

After becoming a mother, Colleen developed a passion for pediatric safety and saw an opportunity to expand the way Warwick EMS served its community. She helped establish the organization’s Community Outreach program, which has since grown to include CPR education, car seat safety, Stop the Bleed training, and other prevention initiatives. Since stepping into the role, Colleen has helped certify nearly 400 people in CPR. For her, serving the Warwick community means making sure people know Warwick EMS is here not only when an emergency happens, but also through education and prevention that can help keep one from happening.

He also provides leadership and oversight for Warwick's Bike Team, supporting medical coverage at community events and locations where traditional ambulance access may be limited. He joined Warwick EMS in May 2026 and was promoted to Captain shortly thereafter. Stev is also a CPR and Stop the Bleed instructor and is currently pursuing his Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Stev believes that effective leadership begins with being present, whether that means supporting fellow providers on emergency calls or building connections with the residents Warwick serves. For him, serving the community means being a familiar, dependable presence and ensuring people feel confident that help will be there when they need it. Outside of EMS, Stev prioritizes physical fitness and spending time with his family, believing that taking care of yourself is an important part of being able to care for others.
