Rob Walker – Chief of Department

Rob Walker has been an EMT since 1988 and is a nationally registered paramedic, board-certified community paramedic, and certified healthcare simulation educator. He holds a Bachelor of Science in EMS Administration from Columbia Southern University and a Master’s in Education Learning Technology from Western Governors University. Rob is the ToxMedic coordinator for Lancaster County’s Hazardous Material team. He is also the former Education Specialist for the Emergency Health Services Federation (EHSF), where he managed the accreditation processes of EMS educational institutes and served as a liaison to these institutes. As the Clinical Course Coordinator for the EHSF Education Institute, he oversaw the development and delivery of initial EMS certification programs as part of the Rural EMS Education Initiative. Additionally, Rob is a contract instructor with the USFA/National Fire Academy for EMS management and leadership programs. He lives in Manheim Township with his wife Tanis, daughter Katie, and two dogs.
 

Zac Hartmann – Captain/Operations Manager

Zac Hartmann has been serving in EMS since 2007, earning his EMT certification from HACC and completing Paramedic School in 2009 at the Lancaster General College of Nursing and Health Sciences, now known as St. Joseph’s University, Lancaster Campus. His career began full-time in 2010 at Lancaster EMS, where he was promoted to Lieutenant and later Captain. After transitioning to roles in Chester and Montgomery Counties, Zac returned to South Central Pennsylvania in 2021, joining Community Lifeteam in Adams County as a Captain, and was promoted to Assistant Chief of the York Division in 2022. Since 2023, Zac has been part of Warwick Community Ambulance and officially began his full-time role as Captain in August. He lives in Lititz with his two children, Madi and Lincoln, his girlfriend Claire, and their dog Milo. In his free time, Zac enjoys cooking, smoking meats, and spending time with his family.
 

Steve Sweigart – Lieutenant

Steve Sweigart has been an Advanced EMT at Warwick Community Ambulance since 2009 and currently serves as Lieutenant. He started his EMS career in 2008 and has strong ties to the Lititz community, having grown up there and graduated from Warwick High School. Steve was also actively involved with Lititz Fire Company, where he worked his way up to Captain. In addition to his operational duties, Steve is responsible for community outreach and managing the agency’s staff certifications. In his free time, he enjoys golfing and spending time with his family. He lives in Lititz with his wife Allisa and son Maverick. Steve is proud to serve the community he grew up in.
 

Scott Myers – Lieutenant

Scott Myers is a Lieutenant and Paramedic at Warwick Community Ambulance. He began his EMS career in 2005 in Pittsburgh as an EMT before obtaining his Paramedic Certificate in 2015 in Lancaster County. Scott has been a Lieutenant at Warwick for over a year and is passionate about serving the local community. He is responsible for overseeing the agency’s education programs. Scott lives in Harrisburg, PA, with his wife Stephanie, whom he has been married to for 13 years, and their four children. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in EMS Administration with a focus on EMS Education from Columbia Southern University.
 

Joseph Diehl – Lieutenant

Joseph Diehl is a paramedic and Lieutenant at Warwick Community Ambulance with 14 years of fire and EMS experience, including over 3 years at Warwick. Along with his paramedic duties, he’s also responsible for logistics, which includes ordering and managing the inventory of all supplies and equipment to keep Warwick running smoothly. Joseph is both a Nationally Registered and Pennsylvania-certified paramedic and holds certifications as a Vehicle Rescue Technician and firefighter. He is also an instructor for CPR, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), reflecting his commitment to training and emergency preparedness.
 

Dr. Christine Dang – Medical Director

Dr. Dang was born and raised in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Hempfield High School and went to Villanova University for her undergraduate degree in biology with minors in French and Mathematics.  She went to Jefferson Medical College, where she met her husband, Dr. David Vaughn.  She stayed at Thomas Jefferson University for her emergency medicine residency.  She returned to Lancaster to practice in 2008, working at Lancaster Regional Medical Center and Heart of Lancaster Medical Center.  She continues to work at UPMC Lititz as the medical director there.  She has two children who go to Manheim Township school district. Both of her children love music and both sing and play piano.  She sometimes will play duets with them on the piano.  She loves the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies but also enjoys watching her son play club sports, and her daughter dance with Dance Dynamix.  She enjoys cooking (and eating), hiking, and traveling in her free time.
